Our Foundation ...

Hand Engineering was founded in 1995 in Dromone, Oldcastle, Co. Meath in Ireland by our current director Darragh Hand.

From our manufacturing site we manufacture and supply equipment and attachments for the Agricultural, Forestry, Construction, Horticultural and Peat Harvesting sectors. We are a leading supplier of excavator attachments such as buckets, grabs, lawn rakes and quick hitches, tractor pick up hitches and log splitters. We manufacture a range of innovative equipment including a peat harvester – the “Bog Hog” and a range of peat trailers. We also design and manufacture zero grazing and crop harvesting machinery.

Throughout the years we have grown from strength to strength. Hand Engineering continuously strive to look at new product solutions and time is spent designing and developing our innovative and specialised products. The quality of our products is recognisable and we have gained a reputation for reliability, durability and value for money.

Hand Engineering now operate on a global scale. Our products can be found across Europe, Asia, Australia, USA and Canada. We have an established dealer network in addition to our online customer base. Our dealers are well equipped to advise customers on the product most suited to their needs.

Research & Development

Research and Development was the key to our success and certainly is key to our future. We have invested in the latest production technology including laser and plasma machines, robotic welders and use the latest in Solidworks software design. Hand Engineering spend time in designing our products to meet tomorrow’s requirements and expectations. You can trust us to deliver and exceed our customers expectations for tomorrow.
